Decorah traffic accident claims the life of a Hawkeye woman

A Hawkeye woman, 38-year-old Andrea Rose, was driving on Montgomery Street just before 10:30 Saturday morning when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a sign in front of Bruening Rock Products.  She was taken to the Winneshiek Medical Center, across the street, where she died a short time later.

Decorah Police say the cause of the collision is undetermined at this time.  The investigation is continuing.
