Arrest made following investigation into a video camera found in a bathroom at Luther College

30-year-old Travis Huinker of Decorah has been arrested on an aggravated misdemeanor charge of Invasion of Privacy in the wake of a Decorah Police Department investigation into a video camera discovered in a uni-sex bathroom in the Luther College Student Union.

The bathroom is in a wing of the Union that houses administrative offices.

Decorah Police seized the device and deactivated it last October, then Campus Security and Residence Life staff inspected all residential restrooms on campus and found no other devices .

Decorah Police earlier this month got an arrest warrant for Huinker. He was found and served the warrant and taken to the Winneshiek County Jail
