Decorah Police Department releases results of St. Patrick's Day weekend Special Traffic Enforcement Program

The Decorah Police Department conducted a Special Traffic Enforcement Program from Thursday through Sunday, timed to the St. Patrick's Day weekend.

Police say they made one arrest for drunk driving and one narcotics arrest.  Eight speeding citations were issued, one citation for driving while revoked and one citation for Failure to Maintain Control.

Police also assisted six motorists, made three traffic stops for faulty equipment and warned eight drivers for stop sign or stop light violations.
