Businesses recognized by Downtown Decorah Betterment Association

The Downtown Decorah Betterment Association Wednesday morning recognized the owners of 15 local businesses which have made investments in the community over the past year.

Recognized for new businesses were Stephanie Henning of Iver & Jack; Stephanie Martin of The Massage Studio; Adrianne Courtney of Wild Roots Salon & Spa; Eric & Jessica Rediske of Red's Retreat & Guesthouse; the Dixon family for Dixie's Biergarten; and Elida Rowley for Driftless Smoothie & Juice Bar.

Recognized for being new business owners were Kelsey Ritner of Magpie Coffeehouse; Kim and Blake Bosworth of Java John's and Carisa Krauskopf of Paradise Sun.

Recognized for new locations were Tiffany Murphy of Gracie's Boutique and Tim Borseth of Games XP.

Recognized for construction projects were Rick Burras of Viking State Bank & Trust; Joe & Ben Grimstad of Decorah Bank & Trust; and David Lester of Oneota Community Food Coop.
