Winneshiek County Conservation is getting some help with funding the Dry Run Trail.

The 100 Plus Men Who Care chapter has donated $3,600 towards the project, which will connect the Prairie Farmer Trail and the Trout Run Trail.

To benefit the project, checks were sent to the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, which is currently holding funds on behalf of Winneshiek County Conservation in a special account for the project.  The 100 Plus Men Who Care initially collected $2,800 for the project at their meeting, but then collected another $800 from people unable to attend the meeting.  The group is still accepting checks to support the Dry Run Trail project.
