Decorah HS student receives a $2,500 scholarship

Decorah High School senior Brayden Krivachek has been awarded the Ralph Hale Scholarship by the Iowa Limestone Producers Association.  The $2,500 scholarship is sponsored by Bennett Explosives, a member of the association.

Brayden plans to attend the University of Minnesota in the fall and major in pre-med biology.  He has participated in National Honor Society, Large Group Speech, Envirothon, cross country, soccer and the Silver Cord program at Decorah High School.

Brayden's father, Shawn, is employed by Moyna Materials, a member of the Iowa Limestone Producers Association.  In addition to Brayden's scholarship, nine other scholarships were awarded by the association.  Including Brayden's scholarship, the ten scholarships totaled $16,000.
