March is Reading Month at John Cline and West Side schools in Decorah.

West Side's theme is "Cat in the Hat and Friends."  West Side hosted "Breakfast and Books" with over 100 students and family members joining for breakfast and literacy-themed activities.

John Cline's theme for the month is "Get in the MOOOd to Read."  John Cline held a literacy night with over 240 families participating in art projects, reading and writing activities, Bingo for books and other literacy games.  The evening included special visits from the Farm Bureau, who led an activity with living seed necklaces; and Dairy Royalty, who donated string cheese for the event.
