Public comments are now being accepted on the proposed Alliant Energy rate increase request

The Iowa Utilities Board has begun accepting comments from the public about Alliant energy's proposed rate increases.

Comments can be filed at https://iub.iowa.gov/online-services/open-docket-comment-form. People must type in their contact information, then pick Docket #Rpu-2019-0001.

The Iowa Office of Consumer Advocate has filed a petition and a petition has been created on Change.org:
