Gravel roads are extremely slippery Wednesday

The latest report from the Winneshiek County Roads Department is that with the rain that has fallen, gravel roads in the county are extremely icy.

County road crews are working on roads, but travel is not advised on the gravel roads Wednesday morning.

Paved roads are in good condition, however, although there are some isolated slippery areas.
