Weight restrictions going into effect on county roads

Road embargoes are going into effect in Winneshiek County.

The Winneshiek County Road Department says it will be placing weight restrictions on certain county roads due to the effects of spring melting on the roadbeds.  Where signs are posted, roads will be restricted to vehicles weighing less than seven tons per axle.
