County's unincorporated communities will get their roads resurfaced

Seven unincorporated communities in Winneshiek County will have their main roads seal coated this summer or fall.

County Engineer Lee Bjerke says his department's 2019-2020 budget includes money for resurfacing main roads in Bluffton, Burr Oak, Festina, Frankville, Freeport, Hesper and Kendallville.

Resurfacing will also be done on River Road and Siewers Spring Road.

The nine projects combined are expected to cost $272,000.
