Winneshiek Medical Center expands ophthalmology services

Winneshiek Medical Center's ophthalmology services continue to expand.  Ophthalmology is a branch of medicine and surgery that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders.

Hospital officials say they have heard from patients that they have a hard time traveling out of town for treatment of some eye disorders.  As a result, two part-time ophthalmologists  now have hours at the medical center treating patients with cataracts and patients with retina problems
