22 Winneshiek County veterans receive Quilts of Valor

The Decorah Quilts of Valor #541 has distributed quilts to 22 veterans during separate presentations at Wellington Place, Aase Haugen Home and Arlin Falck Assisted Living.

Recipients at Aase Haugen were Edwin Macha, Larry Gunhus, Dave Houdek, Charles Schnitzler, David Major and "Hank" Hageman.

Recipients at Arlin Falck Assisted Living were Larry Wilson, Don Stromseth, Bob Neuzil, Dick Trytten, Lynn Wemark, Gene Costello, Dale Olson, Ginger Darling and Jerry Aulwes.

Recipients at Wellington Place were Melvin Bohr, Art Pavlovec, Bernard Reicks, Francis Best, Phil Hemesath, Leroy Bohr and Kenny Lansing.
