(Kelly e-mails: "Why are the stoplights on College Drive no longer sensor triggered and strictly timed? As can be seen in this picture, this is not working."):
The Answer Person says: "We have some good news for you--your commute should be easier on Friday.
The problem on College Drive and its intersection with Heivly Street--and also at the same time on Montgomery Street at its intersection with Highway 9--was that the left turn arrow was not working. As a result, traffic wanting to turn left faced oncoming traffic and had to wait for a gap in the oncoming traffic to make the left turn.
The Decorah Street Department was notified, contacted an electrical crew and should have the problem all cleared up for Friday's commute."
