Dorian Band Festival Concert Sunday night to feature Luther College's music ensembles

Luther College's Concert Band

Luther College's Concert Band and the Norse Brass Quintet will both perform during Luther's Dorian Band Festival at 7:00 p.m. Sunday in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life on Luther's campus.  The concert is open to the public with no charge for admission.

The Luther College Concert Band is one of the oldest touring musical organizations in the nation.  It is directed by Joan deAlbuquerque.

The Norse Brass Quintet is comprised of four Luther faculty members and one Luther senior--faculty members John Cord and Jon Ailabouni on trumpet, faculty member Rebecca Boehm Shaffer on horn, Luther senior Jackson Churchill on trombone and faculty member Michael Smith on bass trombone.
