A Decorah man has been sentenced to two years in prison in connection with an incident in December in which a man entered Miller Hall at Luther College and walked into occupied female bathrooms and showers.
33-year-old Victor Hasvold of Decorah was charged with Invasion of Privacy and with Trespassing. Earlier this month he pleaded guilty to the two charges. Hasvold was sentenced to two years in prison and ordered to pay a $625 fine.
The two-year prison sentence will be served after Hasvold finishes serving a different two-year prison sentence which was handed down when his parole was revoked in a separate case.
Once Hasvold serves both prison sentences, he will return to being on lifetime parole from a previous Johnson County conviction.
