Volunteers for the Toys Go 'Round toy lending library are continuing to look for a new location for the program. TGR has been located in the lower level of the Decorah Public Library for the past 27 years, but the Library Board has given TGR until June 28th to move out of the building.
TGR board president Ana Olson-Johnson says the board has some positive leads for a new home. "We are working diligently to find ways to find a new space that works for us," she says, adding, "We would really like to find space in downtown Decorah. It is our hope that our new space will be large enough that we can have room for kids to come and play."
Olson-Johnson says the board is working with people to determine how to make a new catalog for the lending library inventory. "We continue to work on finding and securing additional funding and would welcome any ideas or donations to that end."
