Luther Board of Regents approves tenure and new majors and minors

The Luther College Board of Regents took action on several matters during their February meeting.

The Regents granted tenure to 11 professors--environmental studies/political science assistant professor Rachel Brummel, assistant professor of biology Stephanie Fretham, assistant professor of art Joseph Madrigal, assistant professor of history Anna Peterson, assistant professor of biology Dawn Reding, assistant professor of music Jennaya Robison, assistant professor of English Lindsey Row-Heyveld, assistant professor of psychology Justin Sprung, assistant professor of theatre Robert Vrtis, assistant professor of management Alexandra White and assistant professor of music and music education Jill Wilson.  In addition to being granted tenure, all eleven were promoted to associate professors.

The Luther Board of Regents also approved several curriculum changes.  Regents approved a new major in music education, a new major and new minor in exercise science, and a new minor in leadership studies.
