Winneshiek County Cattlemen Association is accepting applications for scholarships and beef royalty candidates

The Winneshiek County Cattlemen's Association is getting ready for its 2019 Winneshiek County Beef Banquet on Saturday, March 16th, at the Festina Community Center.

Applications for 2019 Beef Royalty are now available and are due March 1st. Queen candidates have to be a junior or senior in high school; Little Miss Cowgirl candidates have to be between the ages of 9 to 11 as of March 16th, while Little Mr. Cowhand candidates also have to meet the same requirement.

2019 scholarship applications are now available, with scholarships open to high school seniors and college freshmen. The application deadline is also March 1st.

March's Beef Banquet will include a Prime Rib Dinner. Tickets are available from all WCCA Board Members or contact WCCA President Paul Hunter at (563) 380-3755.
