US News names Wellington Place in Decorah "one of the best nursing homes" in the country

Now in its ninth year, the U.S. News "Nursing Home Finder" offers comprehensive information about care, safety, health inspections, staffing and more for almost all nursing homes in the country.  It also reflects U.S. News's analysis of data collected and published by the federal government.

For a second year in a row, U.S. News has named Wellington Place in Decorah to its list of "Best Nursing Homes." 

The website says Wellington Place is a "Better than Average" small facility with 56 beds and nonprofit ownership. The review also notes that Wellington Place participates in Medicare and Medicaid.

Wellington Place has won a plaque showing it is one of the 2018-2019 best nursing homes.
