John Anderson is the new Decorah City Attorney

Longtime Decorah City Attorney Rick Zahasky is stepping down from full-time city attorney duties. Zahasky has served the City of Decorah for more than 40 years.

Monday night the Decorah City Council appointed John Anderson the new City Attorney and named Zahasky the Assistant City Attorney.

Anderson is a 2005 graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law with licenses to practice law in Illinois, Minnesota and Iowa.
