According to Decorah Water Department Superintendent Todd Ihde, there were a few Decorah residents and one business that experienced frozen water pipes this week, with the bitter cold we experienced, but all were from internal issues.
"The water temperature in our wells has dropped a degree or two, but averaged 48.9 degrees as of Wednesday. We are continuing to monitor the water temperatures and the frost depth and if anything drastic changes, we will let residents know," added Ihde.
