Just how cold was it?

The La Crosse Office of the National Weather Service is out with charts of the low temperatures and low wind chills in the area during the last two days.

Yes, it was cold in Decorah!  The NWS says the official low temperature in Decorah was -28 degrees on Wednesday morning and -32 degrees on Thursday morning.

The coldest reading of the two days in NE Iowa, SE Minnesota and Western Wisconsin?  Ridgeway reported a wind chill of -63 degrees.
