DNR issues consent order with local farm

The Iowa DNR has issued a consent order with a Winneshiek County farm family.

The consent order indicates that the DNR has voluntarily entered into a legally enforceable agreement with Kevin Moellers and Gayleen Moellers of 310th Street, northwest of Ridgeway, doing business as KG4 Farms.

Under the agreement, announced Thursday, KG4 Farms must comply with all animal feeding regulations in the future, must submit a Plan of Action to prevent future discharges; and must pay a $1,500 administrative penalty.
