Special Response Team receives donated repaired sniper rifle

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office has gotten some help replacing one of the Special Response Team's sniper rifles.

The current rifle had been in service for many years. Winneshiek County resident Jim See, the owner of Elite Accuracy LLC, rebuilt the old rifle, donating his labor on this project.

See also reached out to several companies to ask them to donate parts for the new rifle and Jeremy Winters of Gunwerks LLC, Derrick Dornbush of D2 Precision, Karsten Hanson of Karsten Kydex, and Buck Holly of C&H Precision agreed.
