Accident leads to ticket for Decorah woman

A Decorah woman has been ticketed for failure to yield the right of way following a traffic accident shortly after 5:30 Saturday evening.

Decorah Police say 32-year-old Jessica Green was stopped at the stop sign on State Street at East Broadway when she pulled out, but failed to see a vehicle driven by 57-year-old Joel Jermeland of Decorah.

The accident did a total of $3,300 in damages.  Neither driver was injured.
