The heaviest snowfall totals in Friday's storm are being reported from the Bluffton area

Friday's snowstorm dumped over one foot of snow on portions of Northeast Iowa, which was the area hit with the heaviest totals.

The National Weather Service La Crosse Office says 14 inches of snowfall was reported at a gauge four miles northeast of Bluffton.  Decorah received 11.8 inches of snowfall, according to the NWS, while Calmar received 11.5 inches.

While Winneshiek County had the heaviest snowfall totals, other Northeast Iowa counties also reported some impressive numbers.  The National Weather Service says 13 inches of snow fell two miles north of Cresco, while Cresco itself received 10.5 inches.  Monona in Clayton county reported 11 inches total snowfall, while Lansing in Allamakee County reported 10 inches.
