Four Decorah HS vocalists selected as semifinalists and finalist for a solo at the Dorian Vocal Festival Grand Concert

Nearly 300 high school vocalists auditioned for a solo at the 2019 Luther College Dorian Vocal Festival's Grand Concert, with four Decorah students advancing to the semi-final round. 

Finn Deen-Lester, Cameron DeLong, Annette Leschensky and Emma Rooney were four of the 23 semifinalists.  Five of those 23 were chosen to perform in the Festival Concert--including Rooney, who sang "Still Wie Die Nacht" by Carl Bohm at the concert, which was attended by a sold-out audience of 1,400 people.
