Yes, we certainly know how to argue about issues in Decorah.  Last year there was the whole issue of should Menards be allowed to fill in the floodplain for a new store.  Starting last year and continuing into 2019 has been the question of whether 29 absentee ballots cast in Iowa House District 55 should be counted.  Now there's the surprisingly heated discussion around the possible construction of a new bus barn for the Decorah School District.
