A Cresco woman, 30-year-old Lindsey Bigler, is in custody at the Winneshiek County Jail following an arrest Wednesday morning by Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies.
Bigler was stopped on Main Street in Spillville, then arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail for simulated public intoxication, interference with official acts, possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bigler also had been arrested by Sheriff's Deputies in November on Trout Run Road near the Decorah Fish Hatchery. She was charged then with Possession of Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was also administered a toxicology test, but the results of that test weren't sent to the Sheriff's Office until this week. Those results showed Bigler was driving under the influence when she was stopped in November, so when she was in custody at the County Jail, the additional charge of operating while under the influence (drug related) was added to the list of charges she faces.
