Decorah woman transported to the Winneshiek County Jail for OWI after losing control on roadway

35-year-old Amber Pambin of Decorah was south bound on Middle Calmar Road Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. when she lost control. Pambin left the roadway, struck a field drive and ended up in the West ditch.
No ambulance transport was needed. The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office handled the accident investigation and cited Pambin for failure to maintain control. The Iowa State Patrol handled the arrest and transported Pambin to the Winneshiek County Jail for operating while under the influence. The accident caused $10,000 of damage.
