As a result of a lengthy investigation conducted by the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office and Calmar Police Department, a search warrant was served at a residence in Calmar Wednesday afternoon. 37-year-old Destiny Chambers of Calmar, 21-year-old Dominick Watson of Calmar and 27-year-old Lane Breitsprecher of Fort Atkinson were arrested and transported to the Winneshiek County Jail.
Chambers was charged with felony controlled substance violation (methamphetamine), felony failure to affix drug stamp, felony gathering where controlled substances are used and aggravated possession of controlled substance (2nd offense).
Watson was charged with felony controlled substance violation (3rd or subsequent) (methamphetamine), felony gathering where controlled substances are used and simple misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Breitsprecher was charged with serious misdemeanor controlled substance violation (methamphetamine) and simple misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
This case remains under investigation, additional arrests and charges are pending. The Winneshiek County Attorney's Office, Iowa State Patrol and Decorah Police Department assisted the Sheriff's Office with the search warrant.
