Decorah man has been arrested following a fight in Elgin

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Decorah man.

24-year-old Mitchell Bruns of Decorah was arrested after the Fayette county Sheriff's Office received a call shortly before 3:00 a.m. Saturday from someone on Pleasant Avenue in Elgin.

Upon investigation, deputies arrested Bruns and charged hime with Second Offense Operating While Intoxicated; Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree and Assault Causing Bodily Injury.

Bruns was taken to the Fayette County Jail, where he is awaiting his initial court appearance.
