CFS kindergartners enjoy "Pizza with a Deputy"

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office has visited a kindergarten class at CFS School in Spillville as the result of a fundraiser at the school.

One of the items raffled off was a classroom visit by deputies.  So the Sheriff's Department last week joined Ms. Halder's Kindergarten class for "Pizza with a Deputy." CFS Kindergartener Owen Taylor was the guest of honor because his parents purchased the winning raffle ticket.

Says the Sheriff's Department, "We had a pizza party with the students and demonstrated some of the equipment we use. Students were able to explore the squad cars. Owen also received a ride with Deputy Hageman in his patrol car."
