Decorah man arrested for allegedly walking into womens showers at Luther College

33-year-old Victor Hasvold of Decorah has been taken into custody after Decorah Police investigated complaints of a man entering a dormitory at Luther College and walking into occupied female bathrooms and showers.  The incident allegedly happened on Wednesday.

Hasvold has been charged with Invasion of Privacy and with Trespassing.  He is currently a registered sex offender, so he has also been charged with an Iowa Sex Offender Registry violation.

Decorah Police worked with the Luther College Safety and Security Office and with Iowa Probation/Parole agents in the investigation.

Hasvold is currently being held in the Winneshiek County Jail.
