No injuries following a two-vehicle accident causing $25,000 of damage

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office reports two people were involved in a motor vehicle accident on Highway 9 Saturday morning.

56-year-old Shanna Riha of Cresco was traveling west on Highway 9 and 40-year-old Alan Zweibohmer of Ridgeway was east on Highway 9.  Riha passed another vehicle and had returned to the west bound lane when she lost control. Riha crossed back into the east bound lane and struck Zweibohmer. No ambulance transport was needed. Riha was cited for failure to maintain control. The accident caused a combined $25,000 of damage to the two vehicles.
