Registration is open for the winter session of Decorah Public Library's "Curious Kids" Program

The Decorah Public Library will offer a special edition of its popular afterschool program, "Curious Kids," this winter.

Children in 1st through 4th grade are invited to join Winneshiek County Farm Bureau's Rachel Myers and Green Iowa AmeriCorps's Gracie Engle on Wednesday afternoons to learn hands-on about farming and the environment.  The new session will run from January 16th through March 27th.

"Curious Kids" is designed to stimulate creative exploration and problem solving through fun, easy projects. A walking school bus is available from John Cline Elementary School.

Register by January 1st at www.decorah.lib.ia.us.  The program is free and open to the public. Space is limited to 22 children.
