Black Hills Energy has a new leader for its Decorah operations unit

Decorah resident Ivan Hackman has been named Operations Supervisor for the Decorah operations of Black Hills Energy.

Hackman's responsibilities will include oversight of natural gas operations, customer service and Service Guard, Black Hill Energy's appliance repair service, for the 22 communities served in the Decorah unit.  

"Ivan brings an accomplished leadership career and strong entrepreneurial background," said eastern Iowa region manager of gas operations Jeff Staudenmaie.

Hackman has over 20 years of experience in customer service and retail management.  Most recently, he worked for Luther College as Assistant Director of Facility Services.
