16 more people receive Quilts of Valor

16 additional Winneshiek County Veterans have been awarded Quilts of Valor.

The quilts were presented by the Decorah Quilts of Valor Chapter #541 at two separate ceremonies--one at Decorah High School and the other at the Decorah VFW.

Funding for the 16 Quilts of Valor was provided through a grant received from the Winneshiek County Community Foundation. The Quilts of Valor Foundation is a non-profit organization established and operated in accordance with Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
