Tickets have gone on sale to the public for the 2018 production of "Christmas at Luther," "Every Voice in Concert Ring."
The five "Christmas at Luther" performances are at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, November 29th; 6:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Friday, November 30th; 7:30 p.m. Saturday, December 1st; and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 2nd. Tickets are $25-$35 and may be purchased online at tickets.luther.edu. Patrons may also purchase tickets through the Luther Ticket Office, telephone (563) 387-1357 or boxoffice@luther.edu, open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., and extended hours on Thursdays, from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
"Every Voice in Concert Ring" showcases the talents of more than 500 musicians, including Symphony Orchestra, Nordic Choir, Luther Ringers, Cathedral Choir, Norsemen, Aurora and Collegiate Choir. Each year more than 8,000 people attend the "Christmas at Luther" performances. Past concerts have been broadcast on 94 percent of all PBS television stations nationwide. The 2018 performance will be broadcast on Public Radio stations, and the 2017 "Christmas at Luther" will be broadcast on television stations in Madison, La Crosse, and Eau Claire, Wisconsin; Rochester, Minnesota; and Cedar Rapids and Waterloo, Iowa, December 23rd through 25th.
