Scam alert - you probably aren't a Publisher's Clearing House winner!

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says it has received multiple reports of scams of people claiming to be from the Publishers Clearing House.

These scams have been received through phone, email and social media. The scammers claim you have won the Publishers Clearing House, then they solicit money "in order to claim the prize."

Says the Sheriff's Office, "you should never give out any personal information or send any money to these scammers!"
