Bloomingdale wins re-election in Iowa House District 51

One of Winneshiek County's 11 voting precincts is in District 51 of the Iowa House of Representatives.  Voters in Precinct 9 voted 618-395 for incumbent Republican Jane Bloomingdale over Democratic challenger Tim Knutson--and those results held true with the rest of the district.

Bloomingdale won re-election with 7,291 votes to Knutson's 5,164 votes--a margin of 58.5 percent to 41.5 percent.
