Write-in votes will determine the final two members of the Winneshiek County Ag Extension Council

Three people have won election to the Winneshiek County Ag Extension Council--Cody Carolan, Norbert Lovstuen and Delbert Smith.  All three received at least 6,000 votes in Tuesday's election.

But while there were three names on the ballot, there were five openings on the Council.  Voters cast 878 write-in votes for other candidates, meaning those votes will have to be calculated to determine which two people will earn seats on the Council.
