Ashbacher wins re-election to County Board

Winneshiek County Supervisor Floyd Ashbacher has won re-election.

Ashbacher received 1,180 votes to 1,112 votes received by Democratic Melissa O'Rourke.  Ashbacher won in Ward 1 of the City of Decorah and townships east of Decorah, while O'Rourke won in Ward 2 of the City of Decorah.  However, Ashbacher had more than a 250 vote margin in Precinct #3, which led him to victory.
