The Decorah FFA chapter is being recognized as a two-star chapter for the National Chapter Award program. The National Chapter Award program is a contest designed to evaluate a chapter based on its ability to plan activities and carry them out using a successful Program of Activities. Chapters are recognized for outstanding achievement in the areas of Student Development, Chapter Development, and Community Development based on a three-star rating, with three being the top level. The Decorah FFA advanced to the National FFA Chapter Award contest after placing 25th in Iowa.
The recognition was presented to the Decorah FFA chapter at the 91st National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis. Decorah FFA members Paige Aten, Braeley Ehrie, Karter Einck, Keagen Einck, Grace Gerleman, Dalton Hemesath, Tyler Irwin, Garrett Lovstuen, Parker Monroe, Ashley Nierling, Libby Rolfs, Stacia Sexton, Shayla Smith, Julianna Wise, and Alex Zweibohmer attended the convention.
