A Decorah man faces three criminal charges after police were called to a home in Freeport over the weekend.

30-year-old Joshua Draves has been charged with felony going armed with intent, aggravated misdemeanor domestic abuse assault displaying or using a weapon and third degree aggravated misdemeanor criminal mischief.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says it received a 9-1-1 call around 3:00 Saturday morning reporting a disturbance at a residence in Freeport.  Deputies responded to the scene and located Draves.  The Sheriff's Office says Draves wouldn't comply with orders and a tazer was used when placing him under arrest.

Draves was taken by ambulance to Winneshiek Medical Center for treatment/evaluation of injuries sustained by the tazer. Draves was medically cleared and transported to the Winneshiek County Jail.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Decorah Police Department.
