Three NICC Calmar campus alumni and the late NICC accounting instructor William "Bill" Wermers will be inducted into the NICC Hall of Fame in a ceremony from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday in the Wilder Business Center on the Calmar campus.
NICC Calmar inductees will be:
--Winneshiek County Emergency Management Coordinator Sean Snyder of Ossian, who has guided Winneshiek County through three consecutive Presidential Disaster Declarations after historic flooding in northeast Iowa.
--Fencl Oil & LP Company owner Ken Fencl, who has devoted his time, talents and leadership to many community organizations, including the Protivin Volunteer Fire Department, the Protivin City Council and the Howard County Economic Development Board.
--NICC associate vice president of operations Rhonda Seibert, who left a career in health information technology to return to her alma mater in 1996 and has served in many capacities, including faculty, academic dean, Calmar campus provost and information security officer.
--The late William "Bill" Wermers (1938-2010), an accounting instructor at NICC from 1969-1999. During his 30-year tenure, Wermers influenced legions of accounting and business students, guided alumni in their careers and devoted his leadership to many community organizations in Spillville.
