Decorah Walmart holds a ribbon cutting for its remodeled store

The Decorah Walmart store has held a grand reopening for its newly remodeled interior at 1798 Old Stage Road.

Members of the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce were on hand for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday. The store now has a Mother's Room, a pharmacy with a new consultation room, a new tool department and a new pickup kiosk.

As part of Friday's grand opening, the Decorah Walmart presented donations to Decorah Parks and Recreation, Habitat for Humanity, John Cline Elementary and Sunflower Child Care Center.
