Letter to the editor in support of County Supervisor Floyd Aschbacher

(The following Letter to the Editor has been submitted by Chuck Ihde of Winneshiek County):

"I have known Floyd Ashbacher for over 40 years and I encourage you to re-elect him to our Winneshiek County Board of Supervisors.

Floyd has always been a person of sound principles and common sense.  During Floyd's years of service, he has advocated for the issues that concern nearly all Winneshiek county residents.  Some of these include environmental concerns and reevaluating the DNR matrix system regarding large livestock confinements.  He has also worked to reform the mental health process and is our voice on the Juveniles Detention Advisory Board.  Floyd works for all of us.  By the way, he has never altered his party affiliation for political advantage."
