One of the two people facing first degree murder charges in the death of a Freeport man, 18-year-old Dalton Adam of Decorah, is getting a new attorney.

Adam's previous attorney, John Standafer of Cedar Falls, has withdrawn from the case.  Adam will now be represented by the Waterloo Public Defender's Office.

Adam and 17-year-old Jacob Seelinger of Decorah are facing charges in the death of 46-year-old David Hansen of Freeport on July 12th.  They both are being held in the Winneshiek County Jail.
